Engineering Lead Analog Digital, Products

Engineering lead participates in design reviews over the medium term, assist in transitioning current products to modern interfaces (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular modem) with an embedded OS architecture where needed.

They will troubleshoot and review technical evaluations of existing, new, and custom products. Be a part of preparing assembly drawings and instructions for the production of a current custom client product usage of products and future innovation. They will contribute to the design and implementation of manufacturing test fixtures. Assist with the Development of manuals and produce other written technical materials. Assemble and test prototypes Process change orders, part number requests, and bills of material. Interface with vendors/suppliers.

Minimum Background and Skills Required:
B.S Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in product development, including 3+ years of experience with circuit design and PCB layout Minimum of 2 years experience with embedded OS such as embedded Linux or similar
Experience with measurement instrumentation Hardware knowledge, surface mount technology, debugging, PCB manufacturing processes
Familiarity of analog and digital electronic circuits including low noise analog circuits, op-amps, filters, A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, and power supplies
Experience with wired and wireless communication Experience with electronic CAD systems as well as bug and issue tracking systems
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations such as CE Marking
Familiarity with stage-gate development and/or Agile development Experience with development under a formal Quality System Strong team skills Strong written & verbal communication skills

Additional Background and Skills Preferred: 5+ years developing products of similar scope and complexity to current products Knowledge of ISO Quality Systems Requirement Familiarity with the physics of fluorescence, light polarization, and light scattering is a plus Familiarity with Altium and/or Autodesk EAGLE.
