GovHire is currently seeking a Recruiting professional to support our client in Chantilly, VA. The role will require full life cycle recruiting with an emphasis on sourcing Federal Investigators, Armed Security Guards and other Security and Investigative related disciplines. Must be an independent self-starter with a desire to deliver exceptional customer care. Ability to develop external sourcing strategy and pipelines. Manage candidate selection process and debrief sessions. Manage development of salary recommendations and lead offer process/negotiations with external candidates. Drive an exemplary candidate and onboarding experience throughout the end-to-end process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recruit for personnel on assigned contracts, to include sourcing, pre- screening, scheduling, interviewing, assessment,  and extending contracts and/or offers; Prepare and send offer packets to candidates; Coordinate with collateral departments to ensure timely recruiting process; Monitor applicant through process until completion of all contingencies; Track recruitment steps in compliance with all legal requirements; Track and analyze hiring data against metrics; Draft effective and lawful advertising copy; Attend job fairs and sourcing events, including some out-of-town events. Conduct new hire orientations

Must have an Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.1 year of recruiting experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Ability to interact with management, internal customers, co-workers, and clients. High-level oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in person and phone. Ability to make effective group presentations to applicants or new hires. Intermediate reasoning skills, including the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form. Intermediate language skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information in an effective manner to senior management. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in business or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in recruiting cleared personnel, armed security, and/or background investigative personnel. Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ideally experience with SAP SuccessFactors.

This is a contract role that has the opportunity to transition to a permanent position onsite in Chantilly VA. Ideal person would have past performance recruiting federal background investigators.
