Software Test Engineer 
Specialized Software Test experience - Six (6) years of concurrent progressive experience with a demonstrated technical background in planning, conducting, analyzing, and reporting system or software testing for real-time software intensive weapon systems. Experience shall include the capability in one or more of the following areas:  software module level testing; system level testing; functional level testing; or software integration.  Experience shall also include software requirements trace tools (e.g., DOORS) and experience with LINUX.

Specialized Test Analysis experience - Five (5) years concurrent progressive experience with a demonstrated technical background in:
Develops systems, standards and computer programs for data acquisition to be used in testing new products and as part of the quality control system within the manufacturing process.
Prepares proposals for testing programs, outlines specific testing conditions, and develops operating procedures.
Reviews and evaluates complex test specifications, test results, test trends and implements corrective action as needed.
Prepares detailed technical reports of findings and makes recommendations for needed modifications to correct problems.
Coordinates and oversees actual tests and analyzes the validity of results.
Reviews customer requirements and specifications to ensure that tests will confirm that these are satisfied.
Interfaces with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve problems that cause test failures.
Studies information from suppliers regarding materials and components to be utilized.
Develops proposal inputs and presents them to department and program personnel.
Generates reports and reviews documents generated by junior engineers. Provides management with feedback on test trends, returns and vendor performance.
Required experience
A Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or fifteen (15) years of demonstrated and established the knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the SOW.
 
Ten (10) years of experience (may be concurrent with the 15 years of experience referenced above) with real-time Weapon Systems development or test and evaluation. Experience with test and evaluation strategies, and statistical analysis of data and engineering tools. Demonstrated the understanding of concepts related to software performance testing and methods of software test design. Experience with process development, management, and implementation (such as the Software Engineering Institutes Capability Maturity Model Integration process). Experience with Configuration Management (CM) processes and Configuration Control Board (CCB) support. Experience with the use of simulations in a test environment.
