This prestigious role provides a unique opportunity to drive overall technology strategy and engage directly with customers. In this capacity, you will play a critical role in defining and implementing modern data architecture solutions for customers while maturing the Platform. The ideal candidate will be a solution-oriented technology leader who has a demonstrated history of cultivating high-performing teams and driving exceptional results.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams supporting new and existing customer pursuits to articulate capabilities/differentiators, define solution options/benefits, and identify modernization opportunities for client-specific workloads
• Define solution architecture and lead/support complex client workload implementation and onboarding ensuring automation, repeatability, and standardization across customer base
• Act as a key product stakeholder contributing to the product roadmap, prioritization, and architecture definition.
• Work closely with Product and Architecture team to define, design, and implement new Control Plane product features and entitlements
• Contribute industry thought leadership and marketing content
• Collaborate with the platform engineering team to operationalize new product features
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Mentor, train, and develop onshore and offshore engineering staff
• Develop standards, patterns, best practices, and formal training (boot camps) for internal engineers and client-facing delivery teams
• Work closely with the Cyber Security Director to ensure adherence to applicable control frameworks, including SOC2, ISO, HiTrust, etc.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Solution Architect working with enterprise customers
• Proven track record supporting the technology sales processes with the ability to articulate business benefits to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Deep knowledge of open-source and proprietary modern data technologies, including Iceberg, Spark, Nifi, Jupyter Notebooks, Cloudera, Databricks, Kubeflow, MLFlow, Kafka, etc. 
• Experience designing/building solutions across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD principles. 
• Proven experience architecting AI and ML solutions at scale. 
• Hands-on experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, Scala, GO, SQL, etc.
