We are seeking a .NET Developer. As a Software Engineer on this team you will assist in the development of .NET applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness. Utilize various technologies (Git, ASP.NET, XML, XSLT, PostgreSQL, FrameMaker and InDesign) to develop software solutions. Collaborate with senior developers to define, design, and implement new features.
Perform unit and integration testing of software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and debug applications under the guidance of senior developers.
Write clean, scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and advancements in the .NET ecosystem. Experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# and Visual Studio. Basic understanding of front-end and back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML) and frameworks.
Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. Familiarity with object-oriented concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve skill set. Be able to meet criteria suitability for security clearance and background investigation for clearance requested and requestor. Public Trust, DoD, DoJ, DHS, etc.
