Access Control Specialist
Fort Meade, MD · Law Enforcement/SecurityJob Description: GovHire is currently seeking individuals looking to get a start in the security field to serve as Access Control Specialist (ACS) supporting a classified programs in the NCR region. The Access Control Specialist will monitor and control access of employees and visitors as the move in and out of restricted areas. The Access Control Specialist will ensuring positive personnel identification while checking each visitor for prohibited and restricted items as they enter or leave the building. The ACS is responsible for assisting employees and visitors with directions to various locations and provide other customer service functions. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age;

U.S. Citizenship;

H.S. Diploma or GED;
-
Read, speak and understand English language fluently;

Prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms;

Impeccable customer service skills;

Must be able to pass pre-employment testing;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret level security clearance.
Other Requirements:

Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications;

Successfully complete a security screening interview;

Successfully pass an employment physical;
-
Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving record checks;

Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and required polygraph;

Must meet client suitability.
