Our Audio Visual Engineers AV/VTC Technician require excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of VTC hardware, software and network connections.
These roles supporting USSOUTHCOM require a TS/SCI Clearance SCI eligibility may be considered.
Experience Requirements: Three or more years of experience supporting and troubleshooting VTCs in Government environment, as well as troubleshooting and fixing VTC hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Polycom). VTC schedulers, technicians and engineers must have expertise in scheduling VTC sessions in VTC bridges, as well as hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points. Install, configure, and maintaining VTC endpoints, application and system software analyze, test, modify and manage VTC infrastructure, such as MCUs and gatekeepers. Monitor and respond to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques
Typical duties include:
Review VTC user request, schedule and manage VTC sessions.
Provide pre-conference testing and setup for video teleconferences and/or meetings.
Ensure full interoperability and a seamless connection between all internal and external systems to include, but not limited to, DISN Video Services - Global (DVS-G), NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS. Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network connectivity issues provide support.
