This role will be in support Global network infrastructure based in NYC and will have an emphasis on supporting various locations NYC, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai etc. Academia culture. Experience participating in projects involving the design and build out of cabling plants for new building or data center facilities.
Bachelor's degree, CCIE (Specialization tracks must include at least one of the following: Routing & Switching, DataCenter, or Security)
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
5-7+ years relevant professional level experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience working in a networked environment and advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, UNIX operating systems, Cisco IOS, and PC and MAC based software.
Intensive network configuration and troubleshooting experience with MS Windows, Apple Macintosh and Unix/Linux Operating Systems in a large (>10,000 nodes) campus environment. Experience in supporting a multi-site Global WAN using both public and private connectivity. Excellent verbal, analytical and problem solving skills: Excellent written and oral English language skills. Ability to communicate with different audiences and convey technical information to a non-technical audience
Experience collaborating on projects with various stakeholders and functioning as the technical lead.

Experience as a sysadmin, developer in a Linux/Unix (Solaris) environment, using Open Source packages including BIND, ISC DHCP, Net-SNMP, syslog-ng, RT or similar; Editing files using Unix text editors such as nano or vi. Automating tasks and performing data and log analysis using basic shell scripting, the Bourne shell, sed, awk & Perl Performing network analysis and troubleshooting using CLI and other tools such as tcdump, iperf, wireshark, etc. Familiarity with troubleshooting DHCP and DNS in complex, multi-homed network environments.
